Cheer Squad Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our Team CF cheer squad! We would love you, your family and friends to become exclusive cheerers, a crucial part of supporting our wonderful participants throughout the year.
Our event volunteers are just as important to us as those taking part in events – you don’t have to be a marathon runner to make a difference. Commitment is flexible, depending on your availability and the event timing.
As a Team CF cheer squad volunteer, we have a variety of events you can choose from, to support Team CF participants. Support event participants by setting up a cheer point at one of the many events where we have supporters taking part. Check out the events below:

Edinburgh Marathon Festival - 25 -26 May 2024
Join us at Edinburgh Marathon and form your own cheer crew along the route!

London to Brighton Cycle - September 2024

Great North Run - 8 September 2024
Join us at Great North Run and form your own cheer crew along the route!

Royal Parks Half Marathon - 13 October 2024
Join us at our cheer crew near Hyde Park Bandstand (near mile 6.) The race starts at 9am and will finish around 2pm but feel free to join us at any point!

London Landmarks Half Marathon - 6 April 2025
Join us at our cheer crew next to Middle Temple Gardens on Victoria Embankment. We will be there from around 9am. The first wave for London Landmarks will set off around 9:20am and the last wave sets off around 10:40am.

London Marathon - 27 April 2025
Join us at our various cheer crews around the route including Greenwich, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Monument and Thames Embankment. If you'd prefer, create your own cheer crew along the route!

We also have a stand at the Running Show where London Marathon runners pick up their numbers. Come and see us. Stand number to be confirmed!
"The atmosphere of the London Marathon is like no other and there's nothing more motivating than turning a corner as a sea of yellow comes into view. There will be times when runners "hit the wall" and hearing the encouragement from Trust cheer crews along the route really helped me to put those achy legs out of my mind and focus on getting to the finish line for Team CF"
